The city of Oberhausen planned a renovation of the historic council chamber in the Oberhausen town hall. In addition to the improvement of the room acoustics, the installation of modern media technology and the improvement of accessibility, the room layout as well as the furnishings were to be newly and innovatively designed.

goracon was able to convince as a subcontractor with its expertise and know-how and secured the contract for the rising podium construction with built-in chair guide rail GSF as well as the further service areas of furnishing, floor covering gas works and guide system for the blind.

Already in the planning phase, there is close coordination with the client, architects and the other external trades with regard to the media technology, so that the production of the individual material components for the council chamber and the gallery is not long in coming.

Soon, the historic council hall will shine in new splendor and the municipal representatives will be able to make their decisions for the benefit of the citizens in the new and modern ambience.
