New extension for the Cologne university of music and dance

The Cologne university of music and dance is one of the world's leading artistic training institutions and, with its three locations, is one of the largest music universities in Europe. Unlike almost any other music or artistic university in Europe, it offers a comprehensive and wide-ranging programme of study to enable students to live with and from the arts at the end of their training.
We are delighted that we were able to impress our clients with our PODIUM flooring system. In the concert hall extension, our system fulfils the special technical requirements of the rising grandstand construction due to the required construction height and the existing sloping floor. Openings for displacement air outlets and inspection openings, the connection of the on-site concert seating, special enclosures and the insulation of the unfinished floor are just as much a part of our scope of services as various handrail constructions and the construction of additional floor surfaces in neighbouring areas.
