The project in brief.
The historic Council Chamber, the heart of the City Hall in Oberhausen, now stands as a true showcase after its comprehensive renovation and redesign. For the City of Oberhausen, this project posed unique challenges, as it was essential to combine the requirements of heritage conservation and fire protection with the demands of modern use for the hall. The goal was to create an accessible room with optimal acoustics, modern media technology, and new furnishings, all while preserving the historic character of the space.
As a subcontractor for Blum & Schneider GmbH & Co. KG, we were able to complete our work professionally within a period of nine months. At the beginning of the project, the focus was on detailed planning, in close coordination with the other trades, which served as the basis for the fabrication of the product components. On site, our skilled personnel ensured an optimal and smooth construction process, ensuring that the project was completed to a flawless standard.
The radial, stepped, and partially level void floor system PODIUM, the integrated Chair Guiding Systems GSF with comfortable seating, the attractive carpet and PVC finishes, the high-quality table setups, and the modern glass railing all contribute to giving the hall and gallery a unique flair.
