Chair guiding system

The state parliament of Baden-Württemberg is located in Stuttgart.

In the course of the renovation of the landmarked state parliament, the plenary hall was not only to shine in new light from the ceiling by means of light cylinders and light cones - the complete interior design was also to illuminate the hall.

The challenge of creating a modern design for the seats of the deputies with improved workplace conditions was met by the innovative GSF chair guiding system. The chair guiding system was integrated into the floor structure of the plenary hall, i.e. the rail is firmly connected to the floor, but the chair can still be moved individually. In this way, all requirements regarding ergonomics, design, aesthetics and escape route freedom in case of evacuation were met, and the members of parliament can continue to hold constructive debates for the benefit of the people under optimal working conditions.

"There is order in the Stuttgart plenary hall - the built-in chair guide rails keep escape routes clear, every chair is in its place and members of parliament can individually adjust their ergonomic sitting position. Thanks to goracon products, stability and mobility are not in conflict."
